St. Mary High School has a strong legacy of preparing our students to succeed in college and in the workforce.  We offer our students a diverse curriculum designed to meet their needs today and achieve their goals for the future.  Our students have the opportunity to take advantage of Advanced Placement Courses, Dual Credit, Technical Programs, and multiple elective options to create an academic experience that is challenging and individualized for each student.

We strive to meet the academic needs of all our students by also providing a full-time Resource Instructor.

 FOREIGN LANGUAGE is not required for high school graduation, but two years of the same language is required by most college and universities for admission.

 ALL STUDENTS: Every student shall maintain an Individual Learning Plan all four years of high school.

 CHRISTIAN SERVICE is incorporated into every student’s life (outside the school day):  Minimum Freshmen - 15 hours, Sophomores - 15 hours, Juniors - 15 hours., and Seniors - 15 hours.  + 15 additional hours over 4 years = total of 75 hours minimum Christian Service for every graduating senior at St. Mary High School.

 Advanced Placement (AP)- St. Mary has a strong AP program with 75% of students in 2016 who took the AP exam scoring a 3 or higher.  St. Mary offers the AP courses listed below:

·               2D Studio Art

·               French

·               Language and Composition

·               English/Literature

·               US History

·               Biology

·               Chemistry

·               Calculus

·               Statistics

Dual Credit- St. Mary offers Dual Credit courses taught on our campus in the following subjects:

·               Algebra

·               Chemistry

·               English

·               Spanish

·               Trigonometry

On-line Dual Credit is offered by St. Mary through collaborations with various colleges and universities.

Technical Courses- St. Mary partners with the Purchase Area Technical Center to offer various certifications.  Students have the opportunity to earn Work Ready Certification in most program areas. Students can pursue courses through PATC in the following areas:

·          Automotive Maintenance

·          Carpentry

·          Collision Repair

·          Cosmetology/Nail Tech

·          Health Science 

·          Welding
