Administrator Employment Opportunities

Middle and High School Principal - Full Time - Starting July 2025

St. Mary School System is seeking a dynamic, visionary, and forward-thinking leader to serve as Principal of our Middle and High School, beginning in July 2025. We are looking for an individual who will inspire academic excellence, foster spiritual growth, and continue to nurture the strong sense of community within our school.

Qualifications for the ideal candidate:

Eligible for Kentucky Principalship Certification, with a master's degree from an accredited university, including coursework in administration and supervision, and/or actively working toward Principalship certification
A minimum of four (4) years of successful teaching experience, preferably within a Catholic school setting
A practicing Catholic, unless an emergency waiver is granted by the Bishop
Demonstrates a commitment to lived Gospel values

St. Mary School System is seeking Instructional Aides for our preschool program.

The successful candidate should:

Have experience working with children in an education setting
Work with direct supervision from the principal to help within the classrooms
Provide small group instruction, one-on-one support
Facilitate student activities
Provide supervision of students
Be flexible to fill in within needed areas of the school
Support and implements the mission/philosophy of Catholic education and the school

Have experience working with students in an education setting.
Possess a minimum of 64 semester hours of credit from a regionally accredited institution, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale; or a Bachelor’s Degree (no minimum grade point average required).

Elementary Cafeteria Supervisor/Aftercare Staff - Full Time (30 hours a week)

St. Mary School System is looking for an individual to join our team as the Elementary Cafeteria Supervisor and Aftercare Program staff member. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising students during lunch in the cafeteria and working in our aftercare program.

Position Details:
Hours/Schedule: 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Full-time position, eligible for full-time benefits

The successful candidate should:

Be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate
Preferably have experience working with children
Be able to lift minimum weight of 30 pounds
Know that the position requires bending, stooping, lifting, and pushing
Demonstrate a commitment to lived Gospel values
